Referring back to my childhood days and remembering all the religious rituals and the belief system that I was taught, I always had my doubts of ever going to heaven or making a good Christian. This was especially true for me when I was to believe that Christians who did not believe in Jesus go to hell, including those who lived before him and never heard of him or was raised to believe in another form of religion or God. As I got older religions never satisfied me and often offended me. I was raised in a Christian atmosphere and never viewed myself as being wiser or better, however I just could not understand. I felt by being involved with only one organized religion failed to give me an overall insight of the meaning of God. My whole life it seems that I rebelled against religions, I knew that they were of good nature; however they did not feed my spirit. I always felt boxed in, and did not know why.

I began searching for the truth and investigating various religions, and mystical techniques. I began to study the History of religions and the history of the Bibles. I also learned that people believed in God way before religions ever existed. I understood that God was worshiped before religions existed. So understanding that, I still wondered why is was believed that I could only live a decent life by being a part of some Church or belonging to a certain type of religion.

I felt that I had to free myself to challenge authority to make my spiritual growth possible. I began to use my own intellectual faculties to evaluate this belief.
I vowed to take all consequences for my actions and had no fear.

I began practicing breathing exercises and meditation techniques. This was my way of addressing the concerns and feeding my spirit the food I felt was needed for my personal and spiritual growth. While practicing these techniques I came to realize that God was not a greater form of a spiritual human, that I had been taught, but a universal force to be reckoned with. I began to understand that God was for too awesome for my mind to conceive and that God is a universal force, presences in all and is all. At my age now I have seen that God or the Creator has outlived and will outlive any form of religion that can be established.

I have always felt that organized religions have put God in a box, only for individuals to understand him in a certain way. I have taken it upon myself to make myself more self reliant of my inner search for and understanding God. This has given me spiritual freedom and peace beyond understanding increasing my knowledge of God and spiritual matters.

Worship

I believe anything that you worship, you would want to obtain knowledge of. I have always felt that God is worthy of worship. I have always been motivated by the words of Ben Ammi Understanding that the worship of God as stated by him, is “The true worship of god is an entire way of life, a continuous action, from the meal you eat in the morning to the job you work on. It encompasses your every deed and thought.” That is the best way I could ever understand worship. So for an individual to ask me (where) do I worship is a insane question as far as I am concern, I feel that my life should be a worship to God.

Believing all of the statements I mentioned above leads me to venture in trying to understand the Universial Laws of life.
